With provenance in the Pacific Northwest, we use old growth fir in everything we build. To compliment this amazing material, we incorporate steel, glass, textiles, and stone. Material Acquisition
Every house and structure in Seattle built in the 1920s and earlier is made entirely of old growth fir. We source our old growth fir by deconstructing these early-1900s houses. Slated for demolition, we instead carefully deconstruct them one board at a time, harvest the entire wood structure, then clean and store the material, ready for your next heirloom piece.
